Full Moon in April 2020:
The Super Pink Moon
Keeping social distancing and stay at home orders and curfews in mind, get outside on the night of Tuesday, April 7, to catch a glimpse of April’s full Pink Moon. This full Moon will be wearing many hats. It is a supermoon, the first full Moon of spring, and the Paschal Full Moon. It becomes fully visible after sunset and will reach peak illumination at 9:35 P.M. CST.
April’s full Moon will not only be the last Supermoon of 2020 it will be the biggest and brightest full Moon of 2020! It will mark the lunar peak of Aries season 2020 and bringing all of the intentions we put out into the universe during the Aries new moon last month to an energetic surge.
A super moon symbolizes the highest natural energy level. Make use of this power! This can be a powerful time for manifestation, meditation, spiritual and self-contemplation, healing and recharging.
As with any cosmic happening, we should take it as an opportunity to grow, shift and evolve, as well as move beyond our old ways. This is the time to let go of fragmented energy you have been harboring and carrying within you, that no longer serve you. Allow super moon energy to transform your life.
Of course, we’ll be charging our crystals and those of the shop while embracing our bodies and spirit in the purifying light to wash away negativity and leaving us vibrant, fresh, and renewed.
FUN FACT: In 2020, we’ll have 13 full Moons, including 2 two Supermoons, and two full moons in one month—the second is known as a “Blue Moon.” And that occurs on Halloween, making it an even rarer occurrence. How rare? A full Moon on Halloween only occurs roughly once every 19 years (known as a Metonic cycle). That translates to approximately 3-4 times per century.
